Got a Project in Mind?
Hi, my name is Cali Tutkowski!
I am a science illustrator, botanist, and nudibranch enthusiast. While I was born and raised in Colorado, I received my Bachelors of Science in botany from California Polytechnic University, Humboldt. There my passion for science communication deepened, and I realized that I needed to merge my two interests of art and science, which led me to science illustration. I then completed California State University Monterey Bay’s Science Illustration certificate program. To complete the program I interned with the Mitchell Park Domes a botanic gardens in Milwaukee Wisconsin, and The Denver Museum of Nature and Science.
While my background is in botany, I have experience and knowledge in a wide variety of subjects, and am always happy to learn more things! If you are interested in working with me shoot me a message with a little information about the project, who it would be for, and the general scale
If you have any questions on the sort of work I can do, please reach out and I’m happy to see if I can help!
